Writer and editor
Have written more than 30 books, including Anatomy of Steampunk: The Fashion of Victorian Futurism (Race Point Publishing, 2013), Alexander McQueen: Evolution (Race Point Publishing, 2012), and The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Wicca and Witchcraft (Alpha Books, 2000). Rewrote text, supervised designers and copy editors, and oversaw production on How to Master Everything (2006–2007), a ten-book series published by Scholastic. Have also written for the Boston Globe, Connoisseur, and Lingua Franca.

Supervised production and editorial work on illustrated children’s titles for book packager. Projects managed include: Dinosaur Valentine (Scholastic, 1994), Ghost Dog (Hyperion, 1993), The Kids’ Cookbook (JellyBean, 1994), The Lamb Who Could (Time-Life Custom, 1994), The Pink Party (Hyperion, 1994), and Rosie and The Poor Rabbits (Atheneum, 1994). Evaluated manuscripts and worked with authors on revisions. Wrote adaptations of recipes for The Kids’ Cookbook.
